what time do you have
healthy mindful fun family
number those days remaining 

to you or your mother
...
does anybody really know
if time is real or not
if owned by gods or dogs
if it is helpful to you
or if it eats you inside
?
my time belongs to the universe
which is (yes we all agree)
the only thing we have
you and me have
time right now
cool

in 2016 i painted a self portrait
me in the mountains, younger than now
but i channeled my grandfather
into my physics chemistry memory souls
.
my current skills are better
painting and thinking
so when my grandfather calls down
"this younger generation"
(he means me)
"doesn't know how to work"
that was otto, karl, senior
.
...i wish he were here...
to share his lovely legacy
in my time (being my life)
to see me acting like he did at 62
his legacy playing out every day
and in all my living cousins
and my living/loving parents
and my child and their siblings
...
